April 2012: Ink Minx Issue

Alcohol Ink Techniques: Deborah Powell
Welcome to our premiere issue of Unruly PaperArts, a collaborative blogozine for stampers, papercrafters, scrapbookers and mixed media artists.

One of the first tools of the trade that we encounter when we begin learning how to create papercraft is ink, in all its fabulous variations. As this is the beginning of our blogozine, we thought we would start at the very beginning - with ink!  From easy to advanced, we have an ink-packed issue coming up for you!

Textured Flexibility: Karen Bearse
As a blogozine, we are a little different even from most digital craft ezines.  We are unruly after all!  You'll find that our "Table of Contents" is more of a "Schedule of Contents" and has publishing dates instead of page numbers.  Come back and visit often or get UPA delivered straight to your inbox by signing up for our email updates.

Paper Batik: Lea Cioci
Life moves fast!  How many of us only have a few moments a day to check in with our art?  By publishing new content throughout the month, we give you time to read on your own schedule but also to spend some time with the ideas, art and techniques in each article without feeling rushed.

Mixing Wet and Dry Inks: Marjie Kemper
We want you to play along too!  Join us each month for two Reader Art Quest inspirations.  You have two weeks to link up your entries and then you and your fellow Unruly Readers will vote for your favorites in the last two weeks of the month!  The 5 entries that receive the most votes will be featured in our next issue!

We hope you enjoy our style and we hope you will share yours with us through future guest contributor articles and our Reader Art Quests.
