About Reader Art Quests
Each month at the release of the monthly issue, UPA will post two Reader Art Quests to provide you with inspiration and fun. Halfway through the month, voting will begin on the entries. We will post a vote reminder on the blog on the 21st of each month.
We invite all our readers to vote for the submission that they enjoyed most. In the following issue, the 5 submissions that garnered the most votes will be highlighted in a special post.
The Art Quests run the 1st of the month through the 15th of the month.
Please only enter a maximum of 3 pieces per Art Quest.
What Can Be Entered?
You can enter any papercrafting project including any of the following:
- card of any size
- scrapbook layout, spread or album
- ATCs, Skinnies or Moos
- tags or bookmarks
- inchies, twinchies, or thrinchies
- scraplings
- 4x4s, 5x5s or 6x6s
- postcard art (6"x4") or arches
- altered projects
- journals
- mixed media creations
Also allowed are home decor items, gift items, handcrafted jewelry or other 3-D projects as long as your creation has some papercrafting included.
Basically, if your creation includes some papercrafting element it qualifies. Go wherever creativity takes you!
Of course, your entry should also fit the Art Quest theme or inspiration.
How to Play?
To submit a qualifying entry, please make sure you follow these simple steps:
1) Upload your creation to your online gallery or blog.
2) If you have a blog, make sure to mention "Unruly PaperArts" and the Art Quest itself with a link back to the specific challenge on the Unruly PaperArts blog when you post your creation.
3) On Unruly PaperArts, use the link application to link your post. Be sure to link to your specific blog post and not just to your main blog address.
Please note: there is no "back linking". Links to posts which occurred before the Reader Art Quest posted will be eliminated.
Please only combine our Reader Art Quests with a maximum of 5 other challenges or art dares.
No submissions which are part of blog hops will be accepted.
No submissions linked directly to the main page of a challenge blog will be accepted. Design team members of challenge blogs are encouraged to submit projects linked to their individual blogs instead.
We reserve the right to remove offensive or inappropriate comments or links at our discretion.
Why Play?
Why not? Our Art Quests are a great way to kick start your mojo and get your art started. We hope they offer some fun inspiration and assist you in discovering other artists.
Your entry may also be featured in our next issue of Unruly PaperArts!
